My mum, who lives near Nikki's parents, often remarked "If t had not been for Nikki, I don't know what I would've done". Shortly after my beloved dad died in 2011, my mum started to become anxious and fearful. One particular day when mum was waiting for my brother to visit, she started to have a really bad panic attack outside her home. Luckily for mum, Nikki saw her and came to her rescue. My mum has never forgotten how Nikki helped her with kindness and reassurance. Nikki also stayed with mum until my brother arrived. Since then, whenever Nikki saw mum she would ask how she was and would sometimes pop over with Ethan to see her. My mum and I have always felt deep gratitude to Nikki for what she did. Nikki also said to me that if there was anything she could do to help, to let her know. Nikki was indeed a wonderful person. Kind, gentle and thoughtful in every way. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
